Before the sun could touch the desert cliffs, Tae & Jacob were getting ready for their intimate wedding day in the trailhead parking lot. This morning started like many of my mornings do- in the middle of the desert before the sunrise with a couple glowing in love. After helping each other get dressed, we took off up the wash on a little hike, & in hunt of the perfect ceremony site.
This specific trail is located in southern Utah, and is one of my favorites because of the easy access & versatility of the desert! To the east, we have the unique sandstone Toadstool formation, and to the west we have breathtaking white cliff walls that make the perfect neutral backdrop.
Jacob and Tae fell in love with the incredible views after our first consultation where we discussed possible elopement locations, and seeing their faces as we peaked the last sand hill & could see everything was worth all of the planning and effort.
The two shared tearful and intimate vows in their sunrise ceremony, and spent the rest of the morning playing, dancing, and kissing in the secluded desert while I photographed it all. Their day couldn’t have been more beautiful, and it’s an honor to be able to share experiences like these with you!
